ADAC Summer Tyre Test names Falken Sincera SN832 as the best

Once again the Falken tyre brand is recieving rave reviews. The ADAC (an 18 million strong automobile club in Germany) Summer Tyre Test named the Falken Sincera SN832 Ecorun as the number 1 tyre for compact cars with a tyre size of 175/65 R14.

The automoboile club carried out a series of tests to determine which Summer Tyre delivers the safest grip on dry and wet roads but that also boasts good fuel economy too.

The results demonstrated that many of the Premium tyre brands neglected the smaller 175 sizes due to car manufacturers not building new vehicles on 14” tyres. However, as the list of older car models below demonstrates, there is still a big demand for these tyre sizes.

ADAC tested 14 current summer tyres for the compact cars listed below:

  • Ford Ka
  • Hyundai i10 and Picanto
  • Mazda 2
  • Mitsubishi Colt
  • Peugeot 206
  • Renault Twingo
  • Seat Mii
  • Skoda Citigo
  • Subaru Justy
  • Toyota Yaris
  • VW up!

The table below displays the results:
